TDNA Intern Program
TDNA sponsors the largest newspaper intern program in the nation. All newspaper members are polled each year for intern positions to be available the next summer. Posters are then mailed to journalism departments of Texas colleges and universities in the fall advertising these intern openings to editorial and advertising students. Each intern receives a certificate from TDNA to document his or her summer's work and on-the-job training. The certificate notes both the employing newspaper and the student's college. Interns are also encouraged to complete in the H.M. Fentress Award contest created especially for editorial interns.
